Close Proximity for Convenient Escapes

You can escape to your lakeside cottage for the weekend, without having to miss your Sunday afternoon commitment back at home. Come to the cottage and relax, without having to clean the yard and start the hot tub. The cottages are located just 90 minutes north of Seattle and 45 minutes south of the US border by Vancouver, British Columbia, Wildwood Lakefront Cottages offer the lakeside cottage lifestyle for busy families who appreciate a place to escape without being too far from home. This charming lakefront cottage community is the last lakefront resort to be built on Lake Whatcom, so while the allure of Wildwood will last forever, the opportunity to own here will not.

Picturesque Resort Location

Located on the southern shores of Lake Whatcom which, perhaps, the finest trout fishing in the world is found. If a good wagon road were cut through to this lake and a comfortable hotel erected on or in the near vicinity, provided with suitable pleasure boats, no spot on the Pacific Coast could be more desirable as a place of a summer resort. The resort location is one of the most picturesque spots that ever gave brilliance or romance to a landscape.

Convenient Access to Local Attractions

The Wildwood Lakefront Cottages are located on Lake Whatcom, along the I-5 just 90 minutes north of Seattle and 45 minutes from a Canadian border crossing, and just 20 minutes from Bellingham. The cottages are tucked away, yet so close to it all. There is so much to take in and it's all so close to Wildwood. The cottages are just 5 minutes to Sudden Valley Golf, 5 minutes to a few general stores, 5 or 10 minutes to hiking, and mountain biking, 15 minutes to shopping and restaurants, fish markets, and breweries, and just 75 minutes to Mount Baker Ski Area.
