We are minutes away from the Flaming Gorge Reservoir and Ashley National Forest. There are many things to do and see in this diverse land of scenic beauty.

Family-Owned Charm

The Rocky Ridge Outpost is a small, family-owned business located on privately owned ranchland in the heart of Flaming Gorge country near Manila, Utah. Being bordered by state land and private ranches ensures a quiet atmosphere where cattle and horses graze and wildlife frequent. Hosts Bryan and Jerilynn invite you to come and enjoy the Old West charm of Rocky Ridge Outpost. During your vacation, you can stay in one of the handcrafted log cabins, yurt, tipi, or sheep wagons.

Accommodations in the Teamster Log Cabin

The Teamster log cabin can accommodate up to a maximum of 8 guests. This cabin has a separate bedroom with a queen-covered wagon bed and a single pull-out bed. There is a loft with a queen-sized bed and in the living area a full futon, full bathroom, and kitchenette. Bedding and towels are provided. There is heating, air conditioning and ceiling fan, satellite TV, and WiFi. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, water cooler, plates, bowls, cups, knives, forks, spoons, tongs, spatula, sharp knife, can opener, large mixing spoon, mixing bowls, cutting board, dish soap, dish towels, toaster, coffee pot, cooking pot, and cooking pan. Outside there is a covered porch and picnic table. Charcoal grills and a fire pit are located by the pavilion.

Unique Features of the Yurt

The 24-foot yurt has a unique queen-sized bed, 2 queen-sized futons, and one set of bunk beds. Bedding for the queen-size bed is supplied, you'll want to bring your sleeping bags or bedding for the other beds, the Rocky Ridge Outpost can provide bedding for an additional charge. There is a shower house with a big shower, sink, and toilet that is available for the yurt. The yurt has a microwave, small fridge/freezer, water cooler, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, tongs, spatula, sharp knife, can opener, large mixing spoon, mixing bowls, cutting board, wash tubs, water jug, dish soap, dish towels, coffee pot, cooking pot, and cooking pan. The yurt has heating and air conditioning, a ceiling fan, satellite TV, and WiFi. There is a private outside cooking area that has a covered counter, double burner propane stove, fire pit, cook pot, fry pan, and picnic table. Charcoal grills are located at the group pavilion. There is a water faucet that is located close by.
