The Wild Wood Cabin House is Stunning Both Inside and Out

Overview of the Wildwood Cabin

Take a look inside the Wildwood cabin located in Hammondsport, New York, United States. The cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests with 1 bedroom, 4 beds, and 1 bath. You'll be sure to love this gorgeous cabin in the woods with an outdoor living room, just minutes from Keuka Lake. No pets allowed. Wifi at the cabin is spotty although it is available, if you are wanting to work on your vacation, this may not be suitable for you. Wildwood is the perfect getaway cabin, right in the heart of the Finger Lakes. The cabin is located just up the hill from Keuka Lake and just a minute or two from The Switz and the Olney Place, it feels remote but is only minutes from the wineries and the lake. Wildwood is perfect for two people, a lovely little honeymoon spot, but the cabin can sleep up to 6 people.

Outdoor Living Space

Winding up the long driveway from the main road, you`ll find Wildwood tucked into a little clearing in the middle of a 5-acre section of woods. The square footage of the cabin is doubled by the stunning outdoor living room space. This will easily become your very favorite place to spend time during your stay. The outdoor living room is covered by a cathedral ceiling with a large chandelier hanging above. The gas fireplace is two-sided and can be seen from both the outside of the cabin and the inside. There is a large screen tv hanging above the fireplace and a cozy mid-century modern section couch for lounging in front of the fireplace or watching tv. The outdoor living room has a bar area with bar stools for dining, a huge gas grill, a large outdoor griddle, and an outdoor refrigerator.

Main Living Area and Kitchen

Walking into the cabin, you`ll enter the main living area with a cathedral ceiling as well. The kitchen and living room are one open space and centered around the fireplace. The main living area is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has all of the cookware and dishes you might need for a meal during your stay (but you'll most likely be doing a lot of your cooking outside). The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. In the living room, you`ll find the ladder to the upstairs loft area, which is quite spacious and inviting. The loft feels large and airy with a wrought iron railing along the balcony edge that faces over the main downstairs living area. The loft has a queen bed and a sofa. The sofa sleeps one person, with a small trundle that pulls out to sleep an additional person.

Loft Access and Surroundings

The loft area can only be reached by use of the ladder. If you are not comfortable with climbing a ladder to reach this additional sleeping space, this cabin may not be the right fit for your group. The owners promise that the outdoor living area will become your new favorite place to relax and you`ll love waking up to the sounds of birds in the trees and the quiet of the woods. You may even experience some sightings of our favorite furry creatures such as deer, squirrels, and raccoons. If you plan to come during the cold months, it is recommended to drive a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
