This beautiful log house design showcases an incredible log home interior to show just how beautiful these log homes can be decorated inside. Inspiration for Log House Design

This beautiful log house is a good place to look for some inspiration for a log house build you might be considering. This luxury log cabin also features a nice sized deck where you can entertain and spend time outdoors. The stainless steel appliances in the modern log house kitchen provide a good place to make breakfast while you look out at the surrounding views. The living room is probably one of the most impressive aspects of this home, with the cathedral ceilings and the wall of windows, this would be the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. The furniture in that they chose for this log house fits very well with the log home design and complements the natural wood finishes perfectly. They mainly went with neutral tones in the leather furniture but added in some colour with the deep red accents here and there. The stone fireplace is the focal point of this log house living room which anchors the room. There's nothing quite like a wood burning fire crackling away in a log house design, so it's wonderful they implemented this fireplace into the design.

Functional and Stylish Living Spaces

Close by to the living room is the dining area where there is a table that can seat quite some people, great for hosting dinners and holiday events. Behind the dining area is the kitchen which is open to the living room but separated by a countertop that could also act as a breakfast bar. The kitchen features all of the newest appliances which make log home living even more desirable. There are also patio doors leading out to the deck where a grill could be placed for easy access to the kitchen. One of the other excellent aspects of this design is that they kept the colour pallet neutral which helps to keep a natural feel within the log cabin and doesn't take away from the logs and wood. This stunning log house is just one of the custom log homes you will find on the Southland Log Homes site. Southland Log Homes are one of America's largest designers and manufacturers of custom log homes, and it's easy to see why.

Creating a Cozy Atmosphere

There are a variety of ways to make a log house feel rustic and cozy. For starters, most log house designs already have a comfortable look and feel simply because of all that wood used throughout. Comfy furniture is another must if you are hoping to inspire a living space that is comfortable and inviting. Installing recessed lighting in your log house and updating any existing lighting fixtures is a great way of making your log house feels like it was professionally designed. Warm lighting is a good way to compliment wood and is a great addition to living rooms and bedrooms too.
