The Campbell Mountain Cabin is a classic, storybook log cabin building perched in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Located in Bryson City, North Carolina, United States the cabin sleeps up to 6 guests with 1 bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. This hidden forested oasis offers 7 private acres, 1 bedroom, 2 baths, and a loft making it perfect for a romantic and private retreat for photographers, honeymooners, families, and friends. During your vacation stay, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life while enjoying comforts like a hot tub, deck, fire pit, fireplace, and symphony of the local wildlife and neighboring stream.
The log cabin has a master bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a queen bed, and additional sleeping with a queen air mattress. Frasier firs and apple trees soar all around the little log cabin, while a clear stream tumbles beneath the arched stone footbridge, evoking a truly peaceful ambiance. In addition, the stream, birds, and crickets play a constant symphony at the Campbell Mountain Cabin. The vacation property is a former apple orchard that has been beautifully landscaped with smooth river rocks, a 3-tiered waterfall, and sculptured river rock walls. The artesian well which doubles as a wishing well provides water so sweet and cold that you might not wish for anything more.
If you’re not quite ready to head inside you can relax in the rocking chairs, barbecue around the fire pit, soak in the roomy hot tub, or enjoy a relaxing visit to the outdoor dry sauna. You'll want to be sure to keep your eyes open anytime you’re outside, as wild turkeys, deer, owls, and eagles are regular visitors. Inside the 1,300-square-foot wood cabin, natural pine walls and generous windows frame the deep, vivid green of the forest and the gleam of the pond. The wood cabin’s living and dining areas share high ceilings, anchored by a wood-burning stone fireplace. You can spend your downtime in the comfortable seating facing the fire, or get to work on a delectable dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. If the weather is warm, you can even make use of the outdoor grill to cook while overlooking the silvery brook.
The cabin building has 2 airy bedrooms with rustic, log queen size beds, but you’ll have to fight over the loft bedroom, which features a wood-burning fireplace. There is an outhouse on the vacation property for tradition’s sake, complete with a crescent moon carved into the door, but the wood cabin itself has 2 full baths. Amenities at the cabin include a fully equipped kitchen, 2 wood-burning fireplaces, flat-screen TV with DVD player, DVD library, jetted tub, furnished deck with rocking chairs, outdoor dining area, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, outhouse, artesian well, sauna, stream with a stone bridge, 4-car driveway, boat/ trailer parking, and more.
