Charming Cabin Overview

You'll be sure to love this charming vacation cabin located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, United States. The cozy cabin can accommodate up to 2 guests with 1 bedroom and 1 bath. This adorable log cabin cottage is in the heart of Apple Country, located 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and 25-30 minutes from Asheville. This cozy cabin sits about halfway up Banks Mountain with beautiful views and peaceful natural surroundings. The Adanvdo (Cherokee for heart or spirit) cabin was built out of an inspiration to share the beautiful mountain on which the owners live. Built with the tiny home concept in mind, it provides everything one could want in a cabin while only taking up a 300-square footprint. There is a custom-made Murphy bed with a queen-size Casper mattress for great sleeping and a loft with a double mattress for an extra guest. The cabin has a small closet with a hanging bar that sits beside the Murphy bed. All bed and bathroom linens are provided.

Comfortable and Well-Equipped Living Space

The cabin is furnished and decorated for comfort, warmth, and charm. There is a fully furnished kitchen with a five-cu foot refrigerator (bigger than your typical hotel refrigerator), a two-burner ceramic stove, and a toaster/convection oven. A new gas grill sits on the back deck to give you more cooking options. There is a two-seat bar in the kitchen area for eating and food preparation. The kitchen is stocked with some condiments, teas, and coffee, all you need is a bag of groceries. The cabin has a flat-screen TV that is mounted in the kitchen area on a swivel arm for easy viewing from the living area or the kitchen bar. There is no cable TV on the mountain, however, the cabin does have a DVD collection for movie time. Step outside of the French doors onto the back deck with access to a hot tub, chairs to soak in the view, a gas grill for a barbecue, and a fire pit area below the deck with a beautiful handmade log bench.

Privacy and Connectivity Considerations

The owner's home is right next door, but they have built a special wall/gate that gives you the utmost privacy. They have a Cocker Spaniel, Belle, who is very friendly, but will bark at times. Because the cabin is in the mountains, the internet relies on satellite. Occasionally, the internet can be slow, so if you're dependent upon WiFi for streaming or work, they cannot guarantee a fast connection.

Wander through the eclectic mix of shops in the pedestrian-friendly downtown or enjoy a leisurely lunch on a sunny patio, and you'll know why this mountain town has become such a popular destination.
