You will fall in love with the Nimbus House at the top of Gubalowka, 1,117 meters above sea level in Poland.
The beatifully crafted log house is located at the top of Gubalowka, at the edge of a spruce forest. The location of 1,117 meters above sea level, is far above the layers of smog, often shrouding Zakopane, where it always guarantees clean and fresh air. Nimbus is a beautiful wooden log house, built using a traditional regional method of flat logs. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher, a hob, and a coffee maker, and a spacious living room with a large sun terrace. On the vacation property, there is also a playground for children, a TV room, a summerhouse with a grill, an extensive viewing terrace, and a monitored parking lot. In close vicinity, there is a Szymoszkowa Ski Station, quads, snowmobiles, and, bicycle rental as well as a rope park. Within a 15-minute walk, there is the Gubalowka funicular railway, which can take you to the center of Zakopane.
Szymoszkowa Ski Station.
Just 300 meters from the place of residence you will find Szymoszkowa Ski Station, with a chair lift to the top of Gubalowka. At its top station, there are bars and restaurants with panoramic views. The smaller chairlift, which runs to the middle of the slope, is perfect for beginners. In summer, you can enjoy the geothermal baths on Polana Szymoszkowa.
Dolina ChochoĊowska.
Just 8.5 km from the place of residence you'll find the longest of the valleys on the Polish side of the Tatras is as much as 9 kilometers long and covers an area of over 35 square kilometers. It is located entirely in the area of Witow, in the Koscielisko commune.
Gubalowka.
Just 1.4 km from the place of residence you'll find the picturesquely towering over Zakopane with a magnificent panorama of the Tatra Mountains. The most popular way to get to the top of Gubalowka is to take the funicular railway. Built in 1938, the railway became a symbol of this place with a characteristic, diagonal carriage. At 3.5 minutes, you can return by it to the center of Zakopane.
Dolina Koscieliska.
9.1 km from the place of residence you'll find Dolina Koscieliska the pearl among the Tatra valleys. Here you will find beautiful mountain views, accessibility, zero degrees of difficulty, and a multitude of trails meaning that, alongside Morskie Oko and Kasprowy Wierch, Dolina Koscieliska is the main destination on the tourist map.
