The Vacationer Is The Perfect Log Cabin For Relaxing Holidays
Here is a beautiful one and a half story log cabin design featuring two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The Vacationer Log Cabin is a total of 727 square feet and starts at $44,900 US from Conestoga Log Cabins. The Vacationer would make an excellent vacation log cabin, and besides it's called the Vacationer after all. In fact, this is actually one of Conestoga's best selling small log cabins. Use it for summer vacations or wintertime holidays, and make it your home away from home.

The deck on the home is incredible as it's shown in the photos of the log cabin on the Conestoga Log Cabins website. You can see the 6 foot deep covered porch that's included with the log cabin package, but you can also see the potential to expand it as the owners have done in the photo. This would cost you extra, of course, but it would be so worth it if you enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors. You could place a dining set on one end with a wood stove at the other to enjoy nice evenings outside in the summer. Inside the log cabin, the cathedral ceiling in the great room is one of the first things that grabs your attention.

Having higher ceilings in a smaller space will always help create the illusion that the space is larger then it is. This log cabin also features a loft that can be reached by a ladder that you could use as an extra sleeping space or a storage area. The Vacationer measures 17 feet by 31 feet with the same floor plan as the company's Heritage log cabin design which is 14.7 feet by 27 feet, so the Vacationer is a bit more spacious. This also allows the Vacationer to have two bedrooms which is great for kids. Just set up some bunk beds, and they can enjoy a camp out together in the cabin.

There is also a full kitchen in the log cabin design which is perfect for cooking healthy homemade meals. Like all of the log cabin designs from Conestoga Log Cabins, the Vacationer is fully customizable. This means that you can make any modifications to the floor plan that you need. You can even add in a stainless steel sink, an electric stove and custom cabinets for an extra cost. Your cabin can also have a sturdy screen door which is very necessary in the summertime or a well-insulated metal door for the wintertime.

They even have other items like a heating or cooling unit, or furniture to complete the home. You can include cedar bunk beds for the kids, as well as couches, dressers, and even wooden swings for the deck. There are also other sizes of small log cabins including one that's only 600 square feet but also has two bedrooms in it. If you're looking for something larger, they even have cabins above 1,000 square feet too. After coming up with your design and setting it in stone, the company will then create your log cabin kit.

Once they've created and labelled all of the pieces for your log cabin, the materials are shipped out to your property where you can either build it yourself or hire on contractors to build it for you. Since each log has been pre-cut and labelled, they are very simple to put together and can be built by pretty much anyone. They even have a video on their website that shows how to build one of their small log cabins. So you can see just how the process would go.
