Shipping container homes are a cost-effective, customizable alternative to traditional homes in the suburbs. A shipping container home is a dwelling that is made from steel shipping containers, the large reusable intermodal containers that transport goods. Shipping containers are available in two sizes to include 20 feet by 8 feet or 40 feet by 8 feet.
