They are constantly striving to keep their overhead lower and search for the best suppliers, so you get the best value for your money as possible. The price per square foot on their tiny house designs can be as high or higher than an average foundation built home design, and there are several reasons for this.

One way to explain this is that whether the home design is 2,000 square feet or 200 square feet the home will still have a lot of the same base components. Every home that is built will have a kitchen with appliances and kitchen countertops, bathrooms with tile, vanity, sink, heating and cooling system, water heater, and more. When you build a larger home design, the average price per foot comes down considerably.

Tiny houses on wheels are also built to travel and withstand high winds, so they are built to be stronger than a traditional home. Another option Timbercraft Tiny Homes offers for people who are more into do it yourself is the unfinished or the shell only option.

The shell option of tiny house design is when they build the tiny house and finish it on the exterior of the home and then allow you the client to finish the interior of the tiny house at your own pace. This option saves a lot of money for anyone who has the skills to do it.

However, if the client doesn't have the time or the needed skills to do it themselves it generally will cost more to have it finished on the building site later by other contractors. They generally do not sell the tiny homes unfinished on the exterior. The tiny house on wheels will come painted and have all of the roofing, siding, windows, and the doors installed.
