The cabin building has low dividers that create three areas to include two lounges, one with a wood-burning fireplace, and the other a traditional free-standing Tyrolean tile stove which is known as a kachelofen, along with a formal dining area off the kitchen. The rustic theme of the duplex apartment continues into the kitchen, which has a breakfast nook and a gas range. Since 2009 this beautiful area has been a Unesco World Heritage site and features some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world, with sheer cliffs, vertical walls, and a high density of deep, narrow, and long valleys. The Dolomites have as many Germanic influences as Italian ones, if not more. Many residents of this area are bilingual, and some also speak a regional language known as Ladin.
