The Livi planters were first launched on Kickstarter by Designer Hooman Koliji. The designer Koliji and his team raised funds for the production of the Livi's through their Kickstarter campaign to get the ball rolling on this great invention. Once people saw them, they were hooked and wanted to have some of their very own window planters.

The innovative planters simply stick straight onto glass, so even for windows where there is not a lot of light, you can still grow plants. The sticky planters can be attached to any vertical surface though, even a wall or you can start a garden on your refrigerator depending on the lighting and the type of plant you are growing. This means you don't need shelves or a large window ledge to grow plants on.

These little planters are an excellent idea no matter where you live, and they are especially great for people who don't have a lot of space, making good use of space to grow the mini garden you've always wanted. The nanotechnology-based suction cups on the planters don't leave any residue behind when you remove the planter, so says the company, and they can be stuck and repeatedly unstuck without losing their bonding powers. Great for renters and subletters.

Starting your own mini-indoor food garden is just one way you can try to live a more sustainable and self-sufficient life. If everyone had their own garden or even grew a few foods to eat, it could change the way people think about food while also offering a feeling of independence at growing your food. Even just having regular houseplants in your home will help create more of an organic feel in your home and bring life to the inside of your house.
