The name Paper Moon comes from the popular portrait fad that began in the late 19th century. It was a fun way to get your portrait taken and the paper moon booths were often set up at fairs and carnivals. The owners enjoy these vintage-style portraits which often depict people with big grins, unlike the traditional portraits of the time.
