Wood is natural building materials that help to reduce the greenhouse gases in the environment and also store carbons. A healthy forest that is sustainably managed is a readily available solution to climate change. Just one acre of healthy forest can help to absorb approximately three tons of carbon dioxide and release approximately two tons of oxygen.

As the trees age and their growth slow, fewer carbons will be absorbed from the atmosphere. When you build a cabin building that uses natural building materials that come from sustainably managed forests, it is just another step to ensuring a green building. Sustainably managed forests help to provide benefits to everyone, that range from safeguarding local livelihoods to helping to protect the ecosystems and biodiversity that are provided by forests. Sustainably managed forests also help to reduce rural poverty and to mitigate some of the effects of climate change.
