Any stay in a log cabin is sure to leave you feeling both relaxed and refreshed at the same time. One of the reasons for this is the energy efficiency of log cabins. One of the best features of a log cabin is that when you heat the logs they radiate warmth back into the cabin room which increases energy efficiency. In warmer climates, this works in reverse, so when the sun is beating down on the exterior of the log cabin it doesn't transfer that heat to the interior and keeps you cooler in the warm summer months.

The thicker the log wall, the greater your thermal mass and the more energy efficient your log cabin will be.
