Wood is a natural building material, so it does not have any of the toxic by-products that are often associated with other building materials when they are manufactured. Wood is the only major building material that is renewable. It is believed that about one-third of the energy in North America is used to help cool, heat, and operate buildings.

A log cabin can help to reduce this as wood is an excellent natural insulator, which also moderates humidity, reducing the need for air conditioning and ventilation. The trees that are used for log cabin buildings absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as they grow. And even after the tree is cut down and harvested, the same carbons are still stored in the wood. A cabin building stores carbons forever.

Czarna Gora is a very famous mountain given its importance, for the simple reason it is one of the most popular ski resorts of the Sudetes on the Polish side. The name means black mountain, just like the former german one (Schwarzer Berg). Despite being so close to the Czech Republic and that its name would be easily translated as Cerna Hora, the Czechs usually do not so and keep the polish spelling. The polish name has also two, located respectively in Karkonosze and the Iser mountains, not to count a country name as well.
