This log cabin is an open concept with a wall of windows, cathedral ceilings, wood burning stove (wood included), a modern kitchen, and a private deck.

Accommodation and Amenities

The Cabin in the Sky vacation home can accommodate up to 6 guests in 2 queen size bedrooms, an upper loft with a king-size bed, and a full bathroom. The cabin has high-speed internet, 40-inch TV with streaming services, a washer/dryer, linens, and towels are also available for your convenience. Outside you can roast marshmallows and drink cider by the fire pit or the deck which includes a gas grill. If you have kids you'll love that the cabin furniture was thoughtfully chosen to survive toddlers, and newborns and it can survive yours. There is also a travel crib, a travel seat, and some toys. If you don't have kids all the kid stuff is tucked away for you to enjoy your mountain retreat. One last note, the cabin's spectacular elevated view does mean a steep driveway. The driveway is plowed regularly. The owners are not responsible for any car issues on the driveway or other mountain roads.

Margaretville is about 140 miles from New York City, which should take a little less than three hours by car. The fastest route is I-87 north to Kingston and then Route 28 west to Margaretville.
