The cabin building can accommodate up to 2 people with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The cabin provides a romantic escape for two in the former writer's cabin. This is a romantic, unique vacation property to make you feel at one with nature but within easy reach, to local amenities so you’re not completely isolated. Originally a writer’s cabin, this cozy wood cabin feels off the beaten track, yet is very easy to get back to the real world. There are many items made by the owner from a native ash tree that can be found within the structure of the property giving it a truly unique feel.
During your stay, you can explore the private woodland, listen to the birds, relax in the hammock by the stream or enjoy stunning trails from the doorstep.
Across the lane, you can walk the Sugar Loaf Mountain or stride out into the Brecon Beacons National Park or Wye Valley, both within easy reach. There are exceptional road trails and mountain biking within the area and The Black Mountains are home to pony trekking centers. The town of Crickhowell is within easy reach and good for stocking up on local fayre. The historical city of Hereford with Cathedral and Mappa Mundi and Hay on Wye, famous for the annual Hay Festival and numerous second-hand bookshops, are both good for day trips.
The vacation accommodation offers 1 bedroom, and a cozy double, a shower room, and a compost WC.
The cabin has a lounge/kitchen/diner, wood burner with a plentiful supply of logs provided, board games, and books. There is a kitchen area with a small electric cooker, 2 ring electric hob, and a fridge. Outside you'll find a decked area with garden furniture, hammock, and chiminea. Amenities include parking for 1 car, bed linens, towels, electricity, and logs included.
The cabin is designed just for two, with a double-sized bed, decent mattress, and proper bed linen, which is provided.
A cozy living space, with kitchen, dining table overlooking the deck area, and sofa. There is a wood-burning stove and a plentiful supply of logs. Unusually for a glamping site, there is electricity, so electric lights and normal plug sockets are at the cabin plus candles too. There is a handbuilt kitchen with a fridge, electric cooker, and small hob, sink. The kitchen is equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you should need, plus handy washing-up liquid, salt, pepper, and more provided. There is a separate shower room with a hot and cold shower, towels and soap included loo and basin. The loo is composted, although impressively clean and civilized.
The cabin has an oak deck area with outside furniture, hammock, chiminea, and generous supplies of logs.
