This newly restored cabin overlooks a bold creek and is adjacent to the Pisgah National Forest. The cabin is bright and open, with a modern interior and a peaceful, rustic feel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The cabin has a wood fireplace inside and a campfire ring outside. The cabin is secluded and quiet, with a well-maintained private gravel driveway, a 15-minute drive to Banner Elk dining, and 10 minutes to grocery and other stores. You'll find golf, award-winning wineries, downhill skiing, and more within 15 to 30 minutes. This beautiful 700-square-foot cabin is open and filled with natural light. It has vaulted ceilings, wood floors, walnut countertops, bright windows, and a generous back porch. Most nights, the view of the stars is spectacular.

Comfortable Bedrooms and Modern Amenities

The cabin has two bedrooms that are of similar size, one with a queen-size bed, and the other with a full-size bed. There is also a cot located under the full-sized bed. All linens and blankets are provided. The bathroom features a walk-in tile shower with stone harvested from the nearby riverbed. All towels, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The house has fast Wi-Fi and a Smart TV (Netflix is available for free, and Hulu, Amazon, HBO, etc. can be streamed from your devices). There is no cable/live TV nor DVD.

Well-Equipped Kitchen and Outdoor Spaces

The cabin also has a small portable Bose speaker so you can listen to music indoors and out. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven and stove, dishwasher, and microwave. All cooking tools, utensils, plates, bowls, and flatware are included. As is tea, drip coffee, and condiments. The exterior of the vacation property features an extended back porch with wicker furniture and an outdoor gas grill. There is a lawn area large enough for games, and a fire pit with several Adirondack chairs. Some firewood is provided. Pets are allowed (maximum of 2) with an additional fee. The cabin is located at the end of a dead-end road. You will drive a few hundred feet on a well-maintained gravel driveway. The local grocery store is a 10-minute drive away. There are lots of dining and shops within 15 to 20 minutes.

Surrounding Nature and Guest Interaction

The cabin is surrounded by excellent hiking trails and fly-fishing streams. Valley Springs resides on 35 private acres, adjacent to hundreds of acres of national forest land. The cabin owners are on the property most of the time if needed. They will interact as much or as little as your preferences and can offer local suggestions upon request. The cabin is a private building with parking and a driveway. There will be a keyless entry available at the door. The key code will be given during the reservation. The 35 acres the cabin sits on are constantly being improved. Currently walking trails and a bridge over bold creek are being constructed for exclusive guest use.
