The log cabin is just 10 minutes to downtown Fairplay, 15 minutes to Alma, 45 minutes to Breckenridge, and 50 minutes to Buena Vista.

If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 15 to 45 minutes of the log cabin. It is a great place to make your home base during your Colorado vacation stay. A cabin is a great place for both couples and families to enjoy and relax. The log cabin offers a cozy Morso wood stove, radiant floor heating throughout the main level, a private hot tub, and a private pond. The log cabin is just 5 miles away to fly fish for elusive rainbow trout during the summer months. The log cabin has one bedroom with a bunk bed with a twin-size bed on top and a full-size bed on the bottom, the second bedroom has a king-size bed and half bathroom, and the third bedroom has a king-size bed and a private full bathroom with shower. Additional sleeping is available with a Pack ‘n Play and sofa bed. The log cabin comfortably sleeps 7 but the sofa bed will sleep up to 8.

During your log cabin vacation stay enjoy indoor living with 2 Smart TVs (use your credentials), board games, a dining table, a fireplace wooden stove, and comfortable seating.

Outside there is a gas grill, propane fire pit, on-site hiking, and forest view. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, electric stovetop, oven, refrigerator, microwave, cooking basics, dishware, flatware, kids plates and cups, some spices, coffee maker, french press, blender, toaster, Crockpot, some trash bags, and paper towels offered. There is free WiFi, central heating, in-unit laundry, linens, towels, complimentary toiletries, laundry detergent, a hair dryer, hangers, and keyless entry. 4WD is recommended in the winter.

The driveway has parking for 2 vehicles, with ATV parking allowed on-site.

Guests have access to the entire log home. All linens, towels, kitchen and cooking utensils, glasses, plates, pots, and pans, are provided. Also, you are welcome to use the washer and dryer. Wi-Fi is available in the log cabin. Cell service is good but can be intermittent and/or not reliable based on your carrier. There is a remote wifi service that is the only available service in the area so streaming usually is good but gaming might not be fast enough.
