Log Home Kit For $40,000, Take A Look Inside!

Embrace Simplicity with the Montana Rancher Log Home

Sometimes, simplicity is just what is needed, and the Montana Rancher log home from Meadowlark Log Homes offers just that. With roots dating back to the 70s and a deep connection to Amish craftsmanship, Meadowlark Log Homes has a rich history in creating beautiful log houses and cabins.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

The journey of Meadowlark Log Homes began when the owners, then young boys, built their first log house in the 70s. Their passion for log construction has only grown, leading them to build a variety of structures including log cabins, houses, lodges, pavilions, homesteads, and chalets. In 2015, the company had the honor of restoring the historic Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier Park, replacing old wood with new cedar railing,a testament to their expertise and dedication.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

All Meadowlark log houses are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Utilizing a flat-on-flat building system, insulation tape, chinking, and foam insulation, these log homes maintain optimal temperatures year-round. This design ensures warmth in winter and coolness in summer, enhancing the comfort of living in a log home. As members of the Log Homes Council (LHC) and the British Columbia Log & Timber Building Association (LTBIA), Meadowlark Log Homes adheres to high standards of energy efficiency and environmental safety.

Durability and Longevity

Log houses are renowned for their durability and longevity, with some structures standing since the 1600s. This longevity means fewer resources are required for rebuilding, making log homes an environmentally friendly choice. Even when a log house is deconstructed, the wood can be repurposed for furniture and home decor, further contributing to sustainability.
