When the couple decided they wanted to build a cottage on their new property, they spent a lot of time researching for builders to build their cottage. They had already researched a bunch of different builders when they met Paul and Greg at Cedarland Homes who quickly grasped the couple's vision for their cabin. The couple also had a budget that they needed to keep on top of, and the company did everything they could to keep them under their budget as well. Now they have a cottage that they will enjoy for years and will always look back on the pleasant experience they had with the team as part of their cottage's story. This beautiful cottage is a great size too, at 1,892 square feet with a footprint of 65 feet by 32 feet. Inside the cottage, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which would make it perfect for a larger family.

The design of this cottage is beautiful too with various peaks in the roofline providing some visual interest from the exterior and great tall ceilings from the inside of the cabin too.

They finished the exterior with a deep bluish grey siding which looks great with the cedar trim around the feature windows in the centre of the home. There's a porch area on one part of the home and also a large deck area on the other side of the home which would be a great place to enjoy some BBQs and times with friends. The kitchen in this cabin is amazing, with high ceilings and tons of space to spread out and make amazing meals. It's nicer than most kitchens in full-time homes. There are so many cabinets as well which provides amazing storage space for the home and an island for more counter space and eating space as well. The cottage has full-size stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and a fridge that's concealed by the cabinetry. The living room is nearby and also features high ceilings with the beautiful stone built fireplace as the focal point. The beams in the ceiling are also very impressive, and the feature wall of windows is another main attraction showcasing views of the beautiful surrounding property.

Another nice feature is the outdoor living room or sunroom that's fully enclosed, so they can enjoy the sun year round.

The master bedroom is large with more than enough room for a big bed, plus there's also access to a little balcony from the bedroom too. The other bedrooms are just as nice too with high ceilings and plenty of space.
