The Advantages of Park Model Living

There are several benefits to park model living, starting with the fact that they are very wallet-friendly. Another benefit of park model homes is that they are transportable and typically designed for long-term or permanent placement at a location where an RV or mobile home is allowed. Once set up park model homes are connected to the necessary utilities needed to operate light fixtures and appliances. They are popular with people for use as vacation, retirement, or use as cottages. Park model homes are not often eligible to be permanent residences though, so it's best to look into your local rules and regulations to see whether they can be used as full-time homes.

Expanding Your Living Space

You'll also find park model homes that have slide-out bays, which collapse into the unit for travel, and then expand outward when the homes are parked to increase the living space. This can allow for some extra space within the park model home, but it makes it also makes it easier to transport when the time comes to move if needed.
