Expertise and Quality Materials

The log builders have been at this for over 20 years, so they've learned a lot along the way, and they're more than happy to pass that on to their customers and anyone who would like to learn more about log homes. The Riverbend Log Homes log home package is a very complete package including all white cedar logs. They only use white cedar because of its incredible properties like resistance to rot, insects and mould. It also has very high energy efficiency too. Since they are located in Eastern Canada, this gives them access to a long term supply of high-quality white cedar as well as efficient shipping in Canada and elsewhere in the world. The Latin name for cedar tree - arborvitae means "tree of life" because it supplies many beings with life. Deer, birds and other forest animals eat the leaves, and the oils have been used as medicine for centuries. Cedarwood is also used to build saunas and makes for the perfect type of wood for building fences and decks as well as outdoor furniture because of its ability to stand up to the elements. This is why Riverbend Log Homes only works with this type of wood. The log builders also include a triple seal joinery system in their log homes. They also include double tongue-and-groove with flanges to ensure the elimination of air and moisture infiltration. Their homes and cabins can be found all over North America and even in Europe now too.
