Lover's Hideaway is conveniently located close to endless sources of entertainment and shopping, as well as access to plenty of activities such as hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and skiing. It's just a short drive to Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area, Dixie Stampede, Ripley's Aquarium, and The Island in Pigeon Forge.

Upon walking through the front door, it will be hard not to fall in love with the beautiful wood interior design and hardwood floors throughout. Drop life's daily stress at the door and enjoy a quiet relaxing evening snuggled up on the leather sofa by the gas fireplace, or open fire pit, or soak in the private hot tub on the back porch. Around 9:00 pm, without leaving the cabin, you can go to the front porch and enjoy the nightly firework show that Dollywood puts on (seasonally). After enjoying all the wonderful activities that the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer, a comfortable king-size bed will await you.

The kitchen has an open concept and provides all appliances and equipment to help whip up a deluxe breakfast. Begin planning your daily activities using the free Wi-Fi or stream through the Roku on the flat screen. The Lover's Hideaway will welcome you home through its warm and inviting atmosphere and the best part of all is you get the entire cabin to yourself. Drive time to most major attractions in the Pigeon Forge is 10 to 45 minutes (4 to 20 miles depending on what you plan to visit) but could be significantly more with major events that commonly occur in the area and/or weather.

Wildlife and Weather Considerations

The Smoky Mountains are the native habitat for many creatures big and small. This includes bears, mice, snakes, and lots of bugs. We do our best to keep the critters out and have regular pest-control service but every once in a while a critter may find its way near your home. Curvy mountain roads may be hard to navigate in poor weather. You'll want to check the weather report before booking and dates of travel. Occasionally in the winter, the mountain roads aren't drivable due to ice and snow, and snow chains and/or 4WD may be required on many roads in the area.
