Take a short walk upstairs and you'll enter the open floor plan with a spacious office area, charming king bedroom area, walk-in closet, private balconies, and full bath with separate shower and jacuzzi tub. The basement is fully furnished and carpeted, with another full living room set, a tv entertainment area, two sleeper sofas, and a kids' play area. Denali is home to wild lands and many wild animals. Congress created the park in 1917 where at the time, the purpose was to protect Dall sheep from overhunting. The park's size and purpose grew over time. The park is now around 6 million acres, and much of the park must remain devoid of human development. This means that the only trails in the park are near the park road, and mainly near the park entrance. However, Denali offers visitors a rare opportunity to hike off-trail in a wild landscape.

Denali National Park is home to North America's tallest peak, it has been a mecca for mountaineering and adventuring for more than a hundred years. Today, the National Park continues to enchant climbers, pack-rafters, skiers, dog mushers, and athletes seeking to test themselves against the raw, unchecked power of a truly wild landscape. Denali's abundant and diverse wildlife is just as famous as its tallest mountain, Denali, which towers above the landscape at 20,310 feet tall. In truth, although the park's namesake is a mountain, Denali was the first national park that was created to protect wildlife. Now, this park is home to 39 species of mammals, 169 species of birds, and 1 lonely species of amphibian. Denali has over 160 species of birds that call the park home during the summer months, but far fewer remain during the chilly winter days.
