The cozy cabin building can accommodate up to 4 guests in this studio vacation rental with two beds. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire wood cabin to yourself. The solar-powered Hillside cabin building is secluded in the woods far from other buildings and city lights.

Unique Amenities and Scenic Views

This cozy cabin building does not have standard plumbing but does have a dry sink and a tank of water for washing and drinking. Also, there is a newly built outhouse behind the wood cabin. The cabin building faces a scenic view of the valley and is located directly on the hiking trail that extends for two miles throughout the vacation property. This is a very private hike-in cabin building that requires your vehicles to be parked 150 yards away.

Secluded Comfort and Wildlife Preservation

The solar-powered Hillside cabin building has a loft with a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized futon on the main floor. This hike-in cabin building is secluded and minimizes any disruption to the wildlife. The cozy wood cabin is tucked quietly away into a grove of hardwood trees, to include towering oak and maple. This cozy 14 by 10 cabin has a 4 by 10 front deck and 7 by 10 loft. The cabin building does not have standard plumbing but does have a dry sink and a tank of drinking/washing water. A newly built outhouse is directly behind the cabin.

Fully Equipped and Convenient Amenities

This very secluded cabin is far from any other buildings and city lights and faces a scenic view of the valley and is located directly on the hiking trail that extends for two miles throughout the property. The cabin includes all bedding, dishes, silverware, cups, towels and a single butane burner for cooking. There are a propane heater and a fan. The cabin is solar powered and has a covered front porch. There is a charcoal grill included and wood can be purchased onsite for the fire pit.

Accessibility and Nearby Attractions

This is a hike-in cabin requiring vehicles to be parked approximately 150 yards away. Although the trail leading to the cabin is wide and well-groomed, it is not paved. Earthology Retreat Center is located in the Maple Dale Valley just walking distance from some of the area's best trout fishing and is just a short two miles from downtown Viroqua. If you are visiting with larger groups, we also have our larger Eagle's Nest Cabin and hike-in camping down by the creek. Please check with us ahead of time about availability and rates.

Everything is thought of in the cabin with a clean outhouse, more than enough water provided, a tea kettle with a single burner, paper towels, soaps, a couple of beds, flashlight, restaurant suggestions, barbecue grill, fire pit, dishes, an outside kitchen sink with water supplied with a hose, table and chairs, hiking, close to downtown and so much more. The cabin building is located in a beautiful area and you'll want to visit again.
