The cabin is 50 minutes from Denver and only 35 minutes from Red Rocks. The cabin is the perfect place to unwind by the hot tub while having accessibility to trails, outdoor adventures, Denver, and more. The cabin is perfectly located in nature with beautiful mountain views all around. The cabin has all the comforts of home and is the perfect place for your Colorado vacation.

Once inside you'll feel completely transported the moment you walk in the door. This cozy and renovated A-frame cabin building is fully furnished and designed perfectly for all your vacation needs. The cabin building features breakfast seating for four, a living space for watching TV or playing games, one full bath, 1 bedroom, and a bonus loft. Cozy up with tea in the morning and wine at night. This is the perfect little getaway. Sit outside in the morning with your cup of coffee on our patio deck. The views are amazing and the perfect backdrop to your mountain retreat. After you've returned from your daytime activities, take a break in the hot tub or sauna. Both are easily accessible and covered from the outside elements.

Access and Driveway Considerations

The cabin is located 10,500 feet above sea level. Located just off I-70, the cabin is just a 20-minute drive up the mountain with the last 0.25 miles of the drive being a gravel road. AWD is required year-round and 4WD is required from October to May. The owners find the drive relatively easy for the elevation that the cabin is located at. However, this is subjective to each individual's experience with the climate and natural elements. The cabin driveway is steep and because of this, the owners do recommend 4WD. They do provide snow removal in the winter months and do their very best to maintain it but with unpredictable high winds throughout the year, snow drifts are common.

Preparation and Guest Recommendations

The owners cannot guarantee the driveway will be completely cleared before your arrival, because of this you'll want to come prepared. This means hiking shoes or snow boots with good footing. The owners do provide snow shovels for guests to use for light snow or in-between snow plows. Many guests love and enjoy this experience, but if you are not the adventurous type or do not have experience in these elements this might not be the vacation rental for you. The cabin has a hot tub.
