The Paradise Cabin located in Moose Pass, Alaska, United States is a recently updated vacation rental that is surrounded by the Chugach National Forest and directly next to the famous Moose Pass swimming hole. Built by a renowned log cabin expert in 1982, the private cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests with 1 bedroom, 2 beds, and 1 bathroom. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire cabin to yourself. This log cabin is private, clean, cozy, and perfect for a couple or a small family who are looking to experience the many activities of the Kenai Peninsula. The cabin is perfectly located close to the beautiful seaside city of Seward, world-class king salmon fishing in Cooper Landing, and the charming town of Moose Pass.
The log cabin has a front partially covered porch where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the surrounding mountain views. The cabin has a full kitchen with a stackable washer and dryer unit available for use. Stairs take you to the upstairs loft. The log cabin was built in 1982 and as such, has some quirks that come with its age. This beautifully built log cabin has everything you need, with a cozy Toyo stove that provides perfect warmth.
The log cabin itself is spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and well-kept. The owners say the cabin sleeps 4, and that's with 2 people upstairs in the loft (queen-sized bed) and 2 people downstairs on the brand new pull-out couch (full size). There is a queen-sized bed in the loft and a double pull-out bed (on the couch) in the living room. The beds are top quality. The cabin has a pack-and-play that can be made available upon request. Out the front door, there's a new deck with a picnic table and a lounge chair.
The living room is open to the kitchen and has a dining table for two and dishes for four or more people. The log cabin has quality furnishings throughout with hand-chosen furniture, bedding, appliances, and decor. The cabin does not have cable TV, which is a good thing as you are surrounded by beautiful wilderness. There is, however, a TV with a DVD player as well as the internet for the busy family planning their vacation on the go. You can check out the newly built Lower Paradise Log Cabin that is behind the Upper Paradise Log Cabin if you need extra beds, as they would be happy to accommodate you. These two cabins on the vacation property are the perfect spot for multiple families on vacation needing extra space.
If you are looking for a unique and rustic log cabin to relax and recharge in a beautiful mountain setting, you've found it. The log cabin is private, yet convenient to all that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. The only way to get around in Moose Pass is to have your car. There is no public transportation or taxi cabs. There are transportation services to and from the larger communities of Cooper Landing and Seward.
