Rumor has it that the area was named Browns Summit because years ago it was a good area to find red clay that was used to make bricks. There are many different kinds of clay and this area was known for its rich red color. The cabin is very close to multiple cities that have all the attractions of big cities without the crazy rush hour of a big city. The area's southern hospitality shines through everywhere you go.
