The Cozy Bear Cabin provides an excellent home base for your vacation stay in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Perfect for larger groups the cabin can accommodate up to 14 guests with 3 bedrooms, 8 beds, and 3.5 baths. The cabin is the perfect place for a fun time, you have plenty to do even if you just want to hang at the cabin. It has a hot tub, fire-pit, darts, billiards, foosball, Pac-man, and tons of games, but if you want to get out and enjoy Maggie Valley you are just 5 minutes from shopping, dining, golf, and skiing. Lake Junaluska, Soco and Mingo Waterfalls, Harrah's, and the Blue Ridge Pkwy are less than 20 minutes away. The Biltmore is just 35 miles east.

Spacious and Comfortable Accommodations

This super cozy 3-story cabin is built on the side of a mountain and is newly decorated. The top floor has a game loft and a community bedroom with 2 queen size beds, 1 full top bunk, and a futon. The master has a king, the bottom floor has 2 queen size beds and a pull-out full-size couch. This is a great space for families and friends. Dining for 8 at the table but can easily fit 10 with a breakfast bar in the same area that seats 4, which means there is dining for 12. There is a newly added fire-pit right next to the hot tub for chilly nights looking over the beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains. The back porch is filled with rockers for relaxing and looking at the view. This cabin has everything you could want.

Access and Parking Considerations

The cabin is located on the side of a mountain, with a paved road to get there, it's a one-way road for about a 1/4 mile stretch. This is typical for most mountain cabins. There are only 4 houses on the street. There is a turnaround above the house and there is parking for 5 cars in the two driveways. You have use of the garage for 1 car or motorcycles. There is also additional parking at the bottom of the mountain. You'll want to note that you should watch the weather in the winter months. If it is snowing you may not be able to access the cabin unless you are comfortable with snow driving. If you need to cancel for the weather there is no charge.
