This wood cabin is perfect for slow living. The lakeside cabin building is the latest stunning addition to the Settle family. With an open plan living-kitchen space, one king-sized bedroom and a luxury bathroom, all including considered interiors. With water lily lake views and surrounded by ancient trees and a host of wildlife. The cabin can sleep up to three guests upon request.

Within the cabin building, you will enjoy the panoramic views of the largest lily pond lake, from the cabin buildings open plan living/dining area with its large modern wood burning stove that keeps it nice and cozy. In the cabin building, there are mid-century furnishings that mix with the Scandinavian touches. There is a modern ply kitchen with black Meir taps, artisan kitchen wares, and a beautiful black Bertazzoni cooker. The cabin building has a master bedroom with a wooden king-sized bed, complete with their signature feather duvets and Piglet linens. There is a large wardrobe in this room, with plenty of hanging space and storage. Through the bedroom, you'll find the luxury bathroom. In this room there is a mix of wood reclaimed marble and modern black Meir tapware for a spa-like experience, with a large modern minimal shower and a bath. The egg bath is positioned for scenic outside views, bringing nature into the room.

The owners have installed cast iron reclaimed radiators throughout, along with the large wood-burning stove. Outside there is a covered area for sitting with a book and a dining area complete with wood-burning stove. The lakeside cabin building is set within a private 30-acre parkland. Views of the largest lake, a host of wildlife and ancient trees. You are welcome to bring your fishing rod to the cabin building. You'll want to bring along slippers for indoor use and leave your outdoor footwear for outdoors.

The cabin building vacation rental is situated in a picturesque area called Breckland in South Norfolk, Settle is located in one of the driest terrains in the United Kingdom. The skies are often blue and the landscape is beautiful. Nearby Thetford Forest and Kings Forest, offer the largest lowland forest in the country and have miles of tranquil trackways and paths to enjoy and explore.

Breckland is also a Special Protection Area (SPA) under the European Union Directive on the Conservation of Wild Birds and one of the few areas in England where the rare and shy golden pheasant may be seen in the wild. At Settle, there are regular visits from passing roe deer, muntjac, and hares. The lakes welcome a returning pair of swans each winter, along with Canadian Geese in the spring this year the owners spotted two content families. Other regular visitors to the property include waterhens, herons, kingfishers, and many songbirds. The lakes are also home to carp, roach, and tench.
