The cozy cabin buildings have logs inside and out, making for a comfortable and appealing stay. Inside you'll find an open living space with a living area/kitchen and dining area. The living area has comfy furnishings and the kitchen has everything you need to easily prepare meals during your stay. Shop Tiny Homes There is a separate bedroom space. Outside there is a private hot tub to enjoy during your stay, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing or gazing up at the stars at night. You'll feel right at home in the Laxfield Lodges with all the comforts of home in the English countryside.
The village of Laxfield has plenty to offer with local amenities such as a village shop, hardware store, and a primary school.
The quaint village is also home to the Royal Oak Pub, All Saint's Church, and the Kings Head Pub also known as the Low House. It has one of the largest communal playing fields found in Suffolk, at almost eight acres, with bowls green and a large children's play area. Laxfield also has a newly refurbished village hall located at the center of the village along with a small museum in the Guildhall built-in 1520. This same building also houses a doctor's surgery on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The village has a Craft and Flea market from 10 am until 12.30 pm on the first Saturday of each month and produce too. There are more than 20 stalls in and around the All Saints Church and the Royal Oak which offer a wide and ever-changing range of products to include plants, crafts, local foods, books, and collectibles.
Laxfield has a hardware store, Grayston Brothers, which used to be a full garage, but now only performs minor automobile repair work and tire changes.
The King's Head Pub, which is known locally as The Low House because of its position below the church and the village center, is a bit unique as it lacks a bar. Beverages at the pub are served from the traditional taproom at the back. There is also a vibrant Baptist Church in the center of the tiny village, with services held every Sunday, both in the morning and the evening. The Baptist church also holds a variety of activities for all age groups, weekly and also throughout the year. On the front wall of the chapel, there is a plaque that commemorates the burning at the stake of John Noyes in the village on 22 September 1557.
