The entire log furniture design is inspired by the historic record of the Old Faithful Inn, and the custom wood desk and credenza are built in the same materials as the original furniture. The inn was designed by architect Robert Reamer who also designed the Great Northern Railway. This inn was a great example of Golden Age architecture which is also known as National Park Service Rustic. It's actually one of the only log hotels that is still standing in the United States and it's considered the largest log hotel in the world and maybe even the largest log building in the entire world too. So these pieces of furniture are a great tribute to this legacy.
