This lovely cottage home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sits on 14 acres surrounded by forests with views of the ocean. The small cottage plan has a huge deck where hammocks that are provided can be hung along with a full-size hot tub nestled in the rocks. The small cottage plan is very private with easy access to the ocean. Shop Tiny Homes The vacation rental has French doors that open onto a spacious deck and to a covered outdoor eating area with hammocks that are available to be hung out on the deck. The outdoor deck overlooks the horse's pasture and has scenic views of Dinner Bay and Pender Island. They're also lovely Japanese Gardens and the Dinner Bay park is a short walk away. The views from the loft bedroom are spectacular. This is an island cottage rental that you'll want to come back to again and again.

There is a barbecue, dishwasher, washer and dryer, flat-screen television, internet, and full-sized appliances. There is an upstairs loft bedroom with a steep staircase which is not easily accessible for people with mobility issues. Pets are also welcome at the Dinner Bay small cottage plan for an extra fee of $10 per day. The small cottage plan sleeps 4 but a discount is available if only 2 stay. During July and August, only weekly rentals are accepted. There is a two-night minimum for the rest of the year. The island cottage has three bicycles that are available for your use if you let the owners know in advance.

The small cottage plan is in a rural area that is surrounded by large acreages but with easy access to both the ocean and the nearby park which has a playground, disc golf course, and a putting green. The cottage rental is only 1.5 km from the ferry terminal and a relatively easy walk. There is often a community bus at the ferry terminal which will provide transportation to island visitors. There are also community car stops to be found at various places on the island, including the ferry terminal, where you can wait for a ride.

The Gulf Islands National Park Reserve offers opportunities for boating, hiking, kayaking, wildlife viewing, and picnicking.

There is an easy 1.5 km loop trail at Bennett Bat that leads to Campbell Point. Campbell Pint also features remnant old-growth forests along with views of Georgeson Island. At Bennett Bay, there is a sandy beach that is suitable for swimming and sunbathing. Georgina Point has a historic lighthouse that was built in 1885 and marks the entrance to Active Pass. At Georgina Point, Orca whales, harbor seals, and seabirds can be seen. BC Ferries operate a vehicle and passenger scheduled ferry service from Tsawwassen (Vancouver) on the mainland and Swartz Bay (Victoria) on Vancouver Island.
