A park model can often be a good choice for those who are downsizing or considering a vacation cabin. The trailer is 14-feet wide and the home has wooden finishes on both the exterior and interior. First of all, you'll notice the nice wide deck area which would be the perfect place to relax and destress. With the wooden siding on the exterior, this park model may even resemble a log cabin once it's all set up in a natural setting. The inside of the cabin is just as nice as the outside, finished with wood in the panelled walls, hardwood floors and cabinets.

The living room is large enough to fit a sectional sofa and the kitchen is arranged along one wall with enough space for all of the regular appliances a home needs.

There's also enough room for a dining area as well. The master bedroom can fit a queen-sized bed and also has built-in cabinets to store away clothing. The other bedroom has some bunk beds which makes it possible to sleep up to three people in the room. The model also features a nice bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. The wooden panelling continues in the bathroom which makes it feel somewhat like a sauna.

Park models provide a convenient prefab option for people wanting to build their own home or cabin to use seasonally.

It's a good idea to check with local bylaws and codes when it comes to placing a park model, and check if you can indeed live in it permanently. Park model homeowners will also have to check in with the park they want to set their home up in as there are different requirements for every area. Some park models can only be of a certain size or colour, and sometimes additions like an enclosed porch are not prohibited. Overall, park models are a fabulous choice for affordable housing.
