The Pollereshutte is located just before the summit of the Sonnwendstein. It is a very hospitable mountain hut. They have very good coffee and world-class curd cheese strudel with vanilla sauce. Here, too, you can enjoy the beautiful view with a cup of coffee. My dogs were welcome. In summer there are grazing cattle in the vicinity of the hut, which occasionally camps directly on the path. I had enough space to evade, my dogs were good and the cattle seemed very relaxed.

Hiking Erzkogel.

If you take the Hochalmweg, this leads directly to the summit cross on the Erzkogel, where there is also a summit book. From the summit cross, you can already see the last part of the way to the Sonnwendstein and the Pollereshutte. You'll enjoy an amazing view.
