The domes feature free WiFi, a kitchen with microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator, drip, and single-serve coffee maker, tea, snacks, and a bathroom with a heated tile floor. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and the full bathroom includes a shower/tub, heated tile floor, hairdryer, soap, and shampoo. You will enjoy sitting by the thermostatically controlled propane-fueled wood stove when there is a seasonal chill in the air. The eco domes are completely private. You alone have use of the interconnected domes. The owners live in a completely separate living space. Outside you have access to an outdoor gas grill, patio, and the property's 10 acres of woodland and meadows. Take a walk on the road that leads to the town hall just over a mile away.
Getting around is easy as the domes are just 10 minutes to Arlington, Vermont, 25 minutes to Manchester, VT, 25 minutes to Bennington, VT, and less than an hour to Saratoga Springs, New York, 4.5 hours to New York City, and under 4 hours to Boston.
The Battenkill River is 3 minutes away from swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. During your stay you might hike the base or go up to the summit of the highest peak in southern Vermont, Mount Equinox is a popular activity. Afterward, you can head into Manchester at the base of the mountain, a great place for brews, dining, art galleries, and shopping. The Appalachian Trail is within a 5-minute drive from Manchester. In the winter season, downhill and Cross Country skiing are within an hour. The two closest downhill mountains are Bromley (35 minutes) and Stratton (50 minutes).

The domes are cozy with a gas-fired wood stove that is thermostatically controlled. The full kitchen awaits you with dining on the terrace out back or inside in the dining dome. You'll love the organic folds in the wall that mold a granite top supported by a maple tree trunk and topped by a clear vessel sink. The dome is a bright and airy space that is illuminated by the truck windshield placed over the kitchen. Side by side conversation in the meadow room is opposite the kitchen island and looks into the warm fire of the propane wood stove. Heated tile floor warms your sole in your very own hobbit spa.
