The log cabin building is situated on 4 wooded acres off a well-maintained gravel road. The Northwood cabin building is very private, with no neighbors in sight. The wildlife in the area is abundant.

The log cabin building is completely remodeled and an addition was added in 2016 featuring 1,240 square feet of living space.

There is a large 20 foot by the 13-foot master bedroom with a large electric fireplace and patio doors that lead to a 500 square foot deck. The master bedroom has a king-sized Sleep Number bed, end tables, a dresser, and a chair, and an ottoman. There is a separate laundry room with a utility sink and a closet for coats, and boots that are located just inside the front door. The main bathroom features a double vanity, with plenty of cabinet space, and a jetted tub. Towels and washcloths are provided.

The Northwoods great room is a true entertainment area with a kitchen tucked into the corner that contains everything you need from utensils to pans along with a three stool breakfast bar and a kitchen table for 4 people.

The great room also has a couch, a love seat, chair, and ottoman, and 55-inch flat-screen television with Apple TV and DVD player. In the center of the great room, there is a beautiful stone and knotty pine fireplace and patio doors that lead to a 300 square foot deck that overlooks the forest and a heavily traveled deer trail. Off of the great room in the cabin building is the second bedroom which contains one queen-sized bed. There is a private 3/4 bath with a sink, toilet, and shower that is adjoined to this smaller bedroom.
