Lodge Hideaway Litchfield In Australia

The Hideaway Litchfield is a unique cabin building located in Rakula, Norther Territory, Australia. The Hideaway cabin is a room in a nature lodge that can accommodate up to 2 guests with one bedroom and one bathroom. During your vacation stay you'll be immersed in the rugged beauty of the Northern Australian bushland, from the luxury and comfort of this two-story steel shipping container design. Enjoy the breathtaking escarpment of the native bush that surrounds this shipping container home. This is the perfect space to come home to after a day of exploring Litchfield's attractions and waterfalls. This cabin building is set on its own, with a short walk to Cabin 1 and the owners' residence. The owners provide eggs and bacon for breakfast, milk yogurt and a treat for you in the refrigerator.

The Hideaway cabin operates on both solar during the day time, and generator at night (silent generator located at the main house). The vacation cabins are secluded in bushland, interconnected to one another by a 70-meter solar lit path. During your vacation stay you'll be surrounded by natural bushland, with Birds and kangaroos to see, and only minutes away drive from waterfalls and rock pools. You will have your choice of cooking on the outside deck or in the air conditioning comfort inside. There is a luxurious bathroom perfect after a day of exploring the National Park, and you can view the stars at night. You can also relax on the couch to view a movie. The water supply for the cozy cabin building is pumped from a nearby underground spring, then filtered at the main house and pumped to a tank at the cabin building where beautiful sparkling water is delivered to your tap. There is a filter jug that can be found in your refrigerator for your peace of mind.

The Hideaway cabin building is located in bushland that is surrounded by beautiful Litchfield National Park. Two cattle stations are down the road so you may hear some rattling of cattle trucks when you are sitting outside on the deck. From the upstairs deck, you can enjoy both the sunsets and sunrises and in the wet season you'll be amazed by the dramatic storms that illuminate the sky.

You'll want to note that there is no public transport available in Litchfield Nat Park, so guests to the Hideaway cabin building will neither want to hire vehicles from Darwin which is about 1.5 hours by road or drive their vehicle. Airport pickups and drop-offs for the cabin building could be arranged by hosts if required. There is also a local helicopter tour that is available to visit all or some of the popular water holes and waterfalls. You can also enjoy a crocodile spotting hover over a billabong if you are feeling brave. The helicopter can pick up and drop off guests from the grass airstrip on the vacation property, which can easily be arranged. Car parking is beside the vacation cabins, car parks are not undercover. All of the approved swimming spots in the National Park have adequate parking and public toilets.
