They do not allow children or pets. The treehouse has a tree trunk elevator, air-conditioning, private shower, and real toilet so that you can bring your significant other. This 18-foot yurt treehouse design has accent lighting to create the mood of living in the trees on a starry night. You can bring a steak to put on the barbecue grill and then spend the evening at the fire pit.
The treehouse vacation rental is located on a 5-acre parcel of land that is surrounded by oak and magnolia trees. The treehouse cabin building is located 15 feet up, between two giant oak trees. The treehouse has an elevator that is made to look like a tree trunk to get you up into the Yurt located in the trees. The yurt is an 18-foot design by Rainier Yurts. The treehouse has a panoramic window, 14 feet ceiling, 4-foot skylight, and a full bath with a bidet. There is a sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. The treehouse vacation rental has a queen-size Murphy bed that makes this treehouse into a large living area during the day and a wonderful bedroom retreat at night. The treehouse has large flat-screen satellite television and high-speed Wi-Fi with Netflix and Amazon too.
On the upper deck, you'll find a swing chair and table that overlook the entire property. On the yurt outdoor deck, there is a gas grill, seating for four and a gas fireplace. Along with the treehouse elevator, there is a circa 1926 classic fire tower stairway that came from a local fire tower, making it a little steeper than normal stairs. On the mid-deck, you will also find a two-person outdoor shower with both hot and cold water, and a hot tub that was created from a DC 10 jet engine cowling. The mid-deck patio also has seating for the occasional rainy afternoon. On the ground level, you'll find a tiki hut and an outdoor wood fire pit with some unique tree trunk seating. You will be provided with a golf cart to travel from Danville through the nature trails to the treehouse. The golf cart will be for your use throughout your stay.
During your treehouse vacation stays you can learn how to milk a goat, as the owner's friend, Randy has Pygmy goats that are milked at 8:30 am at the Barn. You can also take the opportunity to take a horseback ride through the 500-acre natural lands park that is adjacent to Danville. The treehouse vacation rental only books 90 days in advance, so if you see it blocked it may simply mean that it exceeds the 90-day booking limit.
