The cozy wood cabin building is just a short walk to a beautiful lake, the classic round log cabin building offers visitors a relaxing experience in the woods and close access to world-class salmon fishing. The cozy wood cabin is a restful stop on the way to or from Denali. Shop Tiny Homes During your vacation stay, you'll enjoy outdoor games such as badminton, use of the campfire pit for a cook-out, or the grill for a barbecue. For the winter months, you can bring your skis, snowmachine, and ice fishing equipment. The cozy cabin building is heated with an oil Toyo Stove.
The wood cabin is a 16 by 20 open cabin building with a loft.
The wood cabin is most comfortable for 2 to 3 adults and 2 kids but can sleep up to 5 adults but will be a bit tight as adults can't stand up in the upstairs loft. With kids, there is a ladder but there are railings in the loft. The porch does not have railings. The bedroom is small and has sliding barn-style doors for privacy along with a pillow-top queen-sized mattress. The ladder to the loft is in the bedroom.
The wood cabin doesn't have the internet yet, so you'll want to plan accordingly.
Some guests can get a connection on the outdoor porch. Wifi is out of range from the house. There is a Lazy Boy sofa in the main living space and pulls out for one guest to comfortably sleep on. The loft has thick pulled out pads for kids or adults. Full bathroom with a shower and toilet. The kitchenette comes with a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker and a two-burner cooktop. All of the bedding and linens provided. During your vacation stay, you can enjoy outdoor games such as Bocce, Badminton, Kan Jam Frisbee, KUUB, or Molkky. There is also a hammock that is set up in the trees. The cabin building is heated with an oil stove.
Guests of the wood cabin will receive an access code just before their stay.
The cabin building is self-check-in. Guests to the cabin building have full access to the cabin building and the 1/2 acre lot. Guests of the wood cabin can bring along their boats to use on the lake. There is one public access with a dirt road. You can come and go cross country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, or snow machining. During your wood cabin vacation stay, you'll also have the chance to see the northern lights. You can warm up with some Hot Cocoa that is provided by the host and watch a movie for a relaxing night. There are fat bikes, cross country skies, and snowshoe rentals at the Government Peak which is hosted by Lifetime Adventures, which is only 45 minutes from the cabin building. The wood cabin is very close to the famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race start line in Willow during March.
